JUNIOR Rocket Club

Does your child dream of launching rockets into the sky? Junior Rocket Club is the perfect place for curious minds to explore science, engineering, and hands-on building while having fun. Students will learn the basics of rocket flight, build their own model rockets, and take part in exciting launch days at Fiesta Island.

What to Expect:

  • Build and launch model rockets with guidance and support
  • Learn fundamental principles of rocket flight and engineering
  • Participate in 2–3 official launch events with the Diego Area Rocket Team (DART)
  • Get experience that prepares students for middle school rocket club and beyond

Important Details :

  • First rocket kit is provided by the club
  • Parents supply additional kits (usually 1–2, $15–$30 each depending on type of kit purchased)
  • Motors for launch days are purchased on-site (~$5 per flight)
  • Launch events are held Saturday or Sunday mornings on Fiesta Island
