JUNIOR Rocket Club

Does your child dream of launching rockets into the sky? Junior Rocket Club is the perfect place for curious minds to explore science, engineering, and hands-on building while having fun. Students will learn the basics of rocket flight, build their own model rockets, and take part in exciting launch days at Fiesta Island.
What to Expect:
- Build and launch model rockets with guidance and support
- Learn fundamental principles of rocket flight and engineering
- Participate in 2–3 official launch events with the Diego Area Rocket Team (DART)
- Get experience that prepares students for middle school rocket club and beyond
Important Details :
- First rocket kit is provided by the club
- Parents supply additional kits (usually 1–2, $15–$30 each depending on type of kit purchased)
- Motors for launch days are purchased on-site (~$5 per flight)
- Launch events are held Saturday or Sunday mornings on Fiesta Island
