From January 8 to May 12, 2024, 2,251 classes participated in this national mental math competition. Congratulations to all the participants: 50,890 students in France and in French schools abroad.

⭐️ LFSD arrived in 3rd position out of 49 AEFE and non-AEFE schools abroad!

What is Mathador?

Roll the dice! They give you a target number (between 0 and 99) and 5 numbers to use to reach it. You have the 4 operations to get there, but be careful: time is limited, and the operations earn points…

Example: you have to find 61 with the numbers 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 and the 4 operations:
9 x 7 = 63
6 + 2 = 8
8 / 4 = 2
63 – 2 = 61

Can you guess how to find 70 with the numbers 2, 5, 7, 11, and 15 by using the 4 operations?
