♟️LFSD & SDFAS Chess Tournament 🏆

Last Friday, the highly anticipated chess tournament between LFSD and SDFAS took place, and what a thrilling event it was! Hosted by SDFAS, the competition brought together close to 100 young minds from 1st to 8th grades in a display of strategic prowess and sportsmanship.

After an intense battle across 8 rounds, the top 3 players in each grade won a trophy.

🏆 LFSD won 13 trophies out of 18! Congratulations! 👏

Congratulations to SDFAS for winning the best indivual player award, with 8 undefeated rounds! 🥇

A heartfelt thank you goes out to SDFAS for their warm hospitality and for providing such a fantastic platform for students to showcase their talents and passion for chess.

Special appreciation also goes to Irina, Frederic, and Bastien, who ensured the smooth running of the tournament. We’re grateful for all that you do to foster a love for chess among LFSD and SDFAS students.
