Olympic & Paralympic Week – Day 1

🥋 Olympic & Paralympic Week – Day 1 ⚽️

Today, our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders embarked on an enriching experience at the Olympic and Paralympic Week hosted at Cal State LA! ✨

Alongside students from AEFE French Schools and local LA Schools, LFSD Students are coming together to play sports and build friendships. It’s a beautiful example of collaboration and unity, transcending borders and cultures through the universal language of sports.

🚌 Bright and early this morning, our eager students boarded a bus from San Diego to LA, filled with anticipation and enthusiasm for what lies ahead. Their day kicked off with the Opening Ceremony, setting the stage for a week filled with inspiration, learning, and unforgettable moments.

Adding to the excitement, 🦊 Kodomo, the lovable mascot of France Judo, made a special visit, spreading joy and encouragement among the kids.

From engaging Judo exercises that promote discipline and teamwork to exhilarating soccer practice, our students are immersing themselves in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

🙏 A very special thank you to Hervé, from AKA Judo USA, for providing this unique opportunity to the LFSD community.

Stay tuned for more updates as our LFSD students continue to shine brightly at the Olympic and Paralympic Week!
